We love a good rack of pork ribs here in GNL. Good pork needs good spices and that is why we insist on fresh spices with a genuine South Carolina BBQ flavour.
Salt your ribs if you want a salty flavour and then cover them in a good quality rapeseed oil or vegetable oil. For sweetness add brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup. Sprinkle over the rib rub and then do the rub part! Get stuck in and cover all the meat.
There are many ways to cook ribs including the 3-2-1 method, the 2-2-1, or simply wrap in foil and cook at 160C for 3 - 4 hours. Remove the foil and add Scotch BBQ for the last 20 minutes or so.
