Old School Irish Tart by Great Northern Larder
Our Laura loves baking and she really loves the beautiful local ingredients that grow all around us here in County Louth. The easiest way to bring both together in in an old fashioned Irish tart like your Granny used to bake. This is definitely not a pie, nor is it a fancy work of art that belongs in a Parisian window. This is a pure taste and texture.
Each tart is 9" and is made with Irish butter, Irish flour, and washed with local free range eggs. The apple tart is made with Louth Bramleys from either Boyne Grove Fruit Farm or our own trees. The rhubarb is made with rhubarb grown locally here on the Cooley Peninsula. We use very high quality raw cane sugar.
Delivered to your door on a foil tray. You can choose to have it uncooked - in this case you need to cook it or freeze it on the day it arrives. Cooking takes about 35 minutes at 180c. Or make it easy and choose to have your tart cooked and ready to eat when it arrives!
