Our Dry Cured Back Rashers are handcrafted and salted perfection in our own Smoke house in Navan. Co. Meath.
Smokey Streaked Rashers x 300g
We sweet cure, salt cure and smoke our bacon all by hand in our Smoke House in Navan, Co.Meath. The curing of meat does not have a time limit. It can take a couple of weeks, months or even years , depending on what result you are looking for. These streaky rashers were salted and left curing for 7days. Hung up in a dry room, the moisture is withdrawn. We then smoke the bacon piece for 2.5 hours over beechwood chips in our very own smoker.
All orders placed on before Thursday in will be delivered on or before the following Wednesday. This means if you order on Friday you will not receive a delivery for up to 12 days. If you order on Monday you will be waiting 9 days. If you order on Thursday you will be waiting 6 days. This is because all orders are harvested/butchered/curated/packed to order and all packing and fulfillment is done by volunteers.
It is essential that you supply an Eircode and phone number when you order this product. Your delivery will be made by refrigerated van. If you order any time between Monday and Sunday your delivery will take place the following Tuesday. We may deliver more often subject to demand. We will not deliver out side the area marked on the following map (Co. Louth, Co. Meath, Co. Dublin, Parts of Wicklow and Kildare.
